The Birthright was a great read! I liked everything about it. I especially love the time frame it is set in and how the author remained in that setting. The language and surroundings all remained in that era, showing that the author did her homework. Nicely done! A-! The only hang up I have with the book is that because of the sexual nature of the book I can't recommend it to anyone younger than 18. But to the author's defense, the romance scenes were well done and very tasteful.

I've been a big fan of vampire stories and never had an interest in werewolf stories. Well, I'm a big fan of this author's werewolf story. Can't wait for the next book in this series!
Had a hard time reading it because I kept debating if I really loved the book - or loved the person who wrote it (I know her personally) By the end of the book, I decided it was the book alone that I loved and I am going to keep bugging her until the next one comes out!
Fantasy genre is not my usual first choice to read, but this book was a wonderful surprise! Well developed characters, not cardboard cutouts, and descriptions that made the scenes easy to visualize, almost like watching a movie in your mind. Protagonists, warts and all, whom one gets emotionally invested with, a great mix of action and character development. This book was every bit as good as works done by established and well known authors. I, along with many others, am eagerly awaiting book two. Could we be seeing this as a film in the future, ala Twilight or Harry Potter? I think it would play very well.
Not normally a follower of the genre represented by the subject matter in this Book, I approached the read with some hesitation initially it was as a researcher, as I had been asked to provide some Cuddly Toys that represented the Wolves featured in the story. However, it's a book that once begun is difficult to put down. Obviously written by someone who is well versed in the subject, it's a terrific read - and I cannot wait to get the next one. This particular book is the first in a planned series of three!
I loved Birthright! What an impressive first novel. I purchased Birthright for my and found the characters to be well written and the story line truly captivating. I normally read murder mysteries but found myself completely involved in the relationship between Nick and Agatha. I also enjoyed learning about Werewolves, Elves and Faeries. Ms Fullerton has a vivid imagination and is a wonderful storyteller. She brings to life characters you will wish you could meet in person (and some you hope to never meet). I am now a fan of Ms Fullerton's and am looking forward to reading the next book.
I was told by a relative that this book was written by her daughter-in-law. I was intrigued enough to look for this book on and by the description of the characters, so I bought BIRTHRIGHT.
NOW, I can't wait for Book 2 to come out to see how these 2 wonderful people' lives will evolve as time goes on. I am hoping I don't have to wait too long.
I really enjoyed the first book in the series. Took me a few paragraphs to get used to the back and forth point of views, but I really was able to see through their eyes for the book. Really enjoyed the characters especially the supporting. Well fleshed out storylines and can't wait for book 2!
